Could a seventh NHL team be moving to Canada?

it's always disappointed me that these classic canadian teams left canada for places like phoenix and colorado (although the avalanche are sweet). I just love playing NHL96 and seeing the classic Winnipeg Jets and Quebec Nordiques. These crazy canadians are passionate about hockey, so they should get more teams.

Now all we need is the Hartford whalers to make a comeback. That would be badass!

phoenix, ny islanders, and the atlanta thrashers are the three least attended teams in the league.

I like the coyotes and it will be good to see them move to Canada. Personally I don't like that hockey is played in Florida and California. It just seems so wrong. Dallas and Phoenix are ok, but Canada and northern US are better

Gary Bettman is a fucking idiot and will do everything in his power to keep the bankrupt money pit franchise in Phoenix. Southern Ontario could more then support a new team. Hamilton would be ideal, they'd just have to upgrade Copps colisseum to NHL standards. Toronto would still sell out and it wouldn't hurt Buffalo much.

Bettman would rather see a new team in the Southern US then Southern Ontario. He should be fired, he's doing more harm then good to the league.

As much as I want to see this bid go through, I can't see everybody's favourite NHL commissioner letting it happen.

Also while they're at it move the Nashville Predators to Quebec City, Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg, and the NY Islanders to Regina. Screw making it 7, make it 10!

Kansas City is as likely to get a team as Hamilton or any of the Canadian candidates.

regina is way to small. The metropolitan area only has 200,000 residents. You would see halifax or victoria get an nhl team before regina would.

get the hell out of here! I was out in hamilton last weekend and that city sucks!!!  stay away from my sabres!!!!
