Explain. I don't understand. I'd never watch an anime with english dub. Just like I'd never watch a Hollywood movie in Spanish. Maybe he's the same, he watches everything in the original lang. As it should be, if I might add

Maybe Leo J got used to the english voices and founds it boring or hard to be reading subtitles.I don´t blame him it has happened to me once that I got used to certain voices in a language and then since there weren´t enough episodes I had to watch it with subs.But still it is hard to get used to the whole transition feels awkward.

I understand that, but that still doesn't explain why he wouldn't get into it as much as with dub. If Jo started with subs, then there's nothing to see as awkward. And the JP voices are superb, so I doubt Jo'd want to change

That's why I like Japan, they're never afraid to show anything. Fuck, EVA is full of nude scenes of Rei. Though, when they did that sex scene, they ran into trouble....

 That's not really true, Code Geass was censored slightly opon its western broadcast on Adult Swim but the DVD releases ramain unchanged. As far as censoring curse words goes you have to remember that you were watching fan-subs, meaning that they're not professional tranlators and as such are not always accurate and they tend to overstate Japanese explatives.

I think that this sub/dub liking also depends on where do you live. For example in Germany and France everything is dubbed, so they are familiar with it unlike we Finns. Here is only some kids programs dubbed. But of course this won't tell the whole truth.

And what comes to CG, it's one of the best series in it's genre and it's hard to say if this is better than DN.
