CO5 yes on max settings
crysis med maybe high settings
thats a cheap and good gaming laptop!
Looks a great price to me. The 9800 should manage Crysis, i'm not sure how the mobile 9800 stacks up against the desktop but medium to high shouldn't be a problem. COD5, no problems, I'm guestimating v. high settings if it's as optimized as CoD4. Haven't heard of the game shit, is it any good?
If the exchange rate £/$ was as good today as this time last year, I'd import this immediately.
Just noticed in the comments that Crysis was playable on high at 25-30FPS.

Yes, it will runs Crysis well. CoD 5 will run better than next gen consoles.

I knew it was a good find! I just wanna wait for captain kirk to comment and tell me what he thinks. :]
So should I buy this? I wont be buying it for at least a month. I just wanna know now. Can anyone think of a gaming laptop thats much better then this for 1000-1500?

Here. Graphics about twice as fast, CPU about 10% faster; $1350.
Yes you should buy this. NOW!!
Buy a wireless m/kb, joypad and VGA/HDMI cable and you've got yourself a "console" that beats the pants off PS3/360........ and it's frikkin mobile with it's own screen.
I wouldn't pay an extra $400-500 for slight improvements, I doubt you'll find another at $1100. The 9800 might be the best Nvidia mobile graphics card available at the moment, I don't remember hearing of a mobile GTX260 or 280 yet but I could be wrong.
Try pricing a similar specced laptop from Dell or whoever.
For Nvidia 9800>9600~8800>8600

There are indeed mobile "GTX 280"s... but they're rebadged 9800s and only slightly faster. And of course 9800s are rebadged 8800s. No, the fastest mobile graphics card is the Mobility HD4850 X2.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.
