And judging by your comments here, let me give you the answers you'll be giving your entire VGC-life (matter of making things easier for you in the future, just copy paste):

 

1) OPM gives a 10/10 => "LOLz, who would've thought that a Playstation magazine gave their exclusive anything less than a 10... noobs"

2) OPM doesn't give a 10/10 => "ahahahaha, suckers. If not even a Playstation magazine is going to give this a ten, then it's doomed.

3) Sales are lower than expected => ROFL. Gaystation can't sell shit. They ought to learn from MS. Hype doesn't mean shizzle.

4) Sales are higher than expected => "meh.. it's because of the hype. This game will be the most returned game EVAH. Besides, nothing beats Halo 3"


I don't think we'll be seeing any other type of comment from you anyway.

The OPM UK doesn't seem all that biased, it's actually impressive how they got a lot of them pretty close to metacritic,and 7 less and 7 more, doesn't look like scores an independant site or mag wouldn't give.

The OPM UK doesn't seem all that biased, it's actually impressive how they got a lot of them pretty close to metacritic,and 7 less and 7 more, doesn't look like scores an independant site or mag wouldn't give.

Indeed their ratings for Unchartered, Heavenly Sword and Resistance are on par with what I would have given and the rest look very fair scores.  I know official magazines in the past have had a big slating for being biased but whenever I've read OPM they're very critical of Sony yet write very honest reviews.  This is not the actions of a magazine doing the bidding of some PR entity at Sony.  For me this review is very trustworthy and I'm glad I have another great game to ponder over buying this year.

in your opinion official mag doesn't mean much, but in context with the factual evidence set in stone, how can you ignore it?! considering they have a history of giving lower scores more often than higher scores.
