I got a new copy of SotC (still sealed) and I wanted to play it after I play ICO but ICO is such hard game to find !!!

you got those ridiculously overpriced copies on eBay and why is it so overpriced because it's "Rare" !!!

anyway there is no way in hell I'm gonna pay those amounts on ebay for a 8 year old game on a last gen system which I may or may not like (and it being used not new doesn't help ether)

so now do you think I should go right ahead and start SotC without playing ICO ??

are they related story wise like the MGS or GoW games or are they thier own game with to ties to each other ??

I tried my local EB games today and they said they haven't seen one of those (ICO) in a long time and I really don't have that time or even care that much to try and track it down from local stores.

Play it. It's probably better than anything else you've got to play at the moment.

You could wait for Ico, but they're more spiritually related anything. Besides, Shadow is actual a prequel to Ico.

However, when you do beat Ico, you will gain a bit more insight into the ending of Shadow.

Well, SotC from a timeline perspective is some sort of prequel to ICO, but they aren't related that closely (neither from a gameplay nor from a story perspective - but the world setting is similar)

I played SotC first and didn't regret that afterwards.

You might as well play it now since there's no reason to wait since the two games aren't connected at all (or so I hear, I haven't played ICO yet).

Either you do know something and even hinting at something is against NDA after NDA or either you aren't and you're just being 12 and trying to sound in the know.  Either way it's annoying and doesn't add anything.

play it now, it´s simply amazing

i play shadow of the colossus its an amazing experience, the game its made you feel spiritual connected.

i haven't play ico yet, because i am yet to find a working copy. =(

I'd say you can play them in any order. They connect but not in a linear manner.
