This site is going to crash when Square Enix announces FF13 for Wii.

im not worried

cant wait!

We need to set up some
"The Official Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft Press Conference Thread" so every announcement wont get it its own thread and easier for people to see the news since some people might not have access the live blogs or maybe some live blogs crash and so on.

Like 5 users use 5 different live blogs just in case and keep posting as the event goes on. I dunno something like that might help...

TRICOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO -GEekgasms-

=D.
please.. at least a teaser... and leave the trailer for TGS
(i heard if you ask for less it may happen !)

This is a pretty good idea and I'll suggest it to Naz, though I expect that there will already be one main thread like this for each keynote. Can't hurt to be prepared.

But each big announcement will have its own thread. Oh, you better believe that if we get a new Zelda, we'll get a new thread.

As to the OP:

If there are any real megatons this year, I expect the site to crash at least once. If IGN can crash, anybody can crash.

Haha yea big ones deserve it.

But we dont need to know about new mini games for Wii Sports Resort or a thread for US release dates. Not soon anyways.

First news with random hyped/pissed comments------->then discussion.....with hyped/pissed comments.

Sure, because Nintendo is first and after that nothing else shown by anyone else will make any news what so ever. It will be like seagulls squaking at an airport after the takeoff of a Airbus A380.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Oh yea almost forgot. HYPE

Im not sure if thats sarcasm....>_>

I dont think a "megaton" will be announced but I expect great things for all. If 2.0 does come before E3 I think the reason the site will crash is because of the new site might not being stable.
