Showcasing 4 players and 8 fighters using G-MODE, where each player controls two linked fighters at once with multidirectional fire. The game mode is SURVIVAl, where each player only has one life per fighter.

Read most of the post, but not all of them. But from what I understand you ontrol each fighter with one joy stick, but they fire at the same time(one trigger controls both fighters fire power)? Have you thought of maybe left trigger/left joystick one fighter, and right trigger/right joystick the other? Either way sounds fun

You have to bring us this game. It is probably the most fun looking SHMUP game Ive seen for awhile. I stopped playing them recently. But you will start me right back up. :)

In Dual Play, you control each fighter with one stick, and the they fire automatically, so that you needn't worry about handling that.

The triggers control the spread/compression of the fire. One widens it. One compresses it.

Dual Play is optional... you can play Solo Play, with just one fighter, where you control if you're firing or not.  Other control modes include MultiDirectional, where you control the aim of the fire, and G-Mode, where you control two linked fighters paying homage to Galaga... which continues the Duality theme. Each of these modes has the dual-weapon system where you can have spread fire or laser fire.
