Far superior,  maybe in your eyes.   Maybe if you got rid of your Nintendo Bias you would see that the only thing that rivals the dual analog setup for FPS games is a keyboard and mouse setup.   The really good FPS players, like myself, wll demolish the "Wiimote" players if Sony puts it on its console

That's cool. Everyone has there opinion. But you would get your ass handed to you rather quickly trying to go up against a person using a wii mote. And that go's double for a person who has had a lot of time using the wii mote for FPS. But for this reason I hope they bring this controller because it would put all doubt to rest.

Whatever, like I said if its so great for FPS game hom come all of the FPS players out there arent flocking to the Wii and playing them on there?  Because it isnt thats why,  I would rape you if you had a wiimote in a game against me in COD4.

The wiimote is far more accurate and quick as a pointing device than an analog stick.  Whether you're simply typing in your user name or taking head shots.  It's doesn't even take skill to be faster and more accurate than someone using an analog stick.  It's just a better input device when it comes to an on screen pointer.  The motion control part if it isn't always so great, but we're not talking about that here.  If you can't see that it has a better onscreen pointer then you are extremely biased.

Also, it's really immature and inappropriate to use the word rape casually.

You are so boring, and musnt be very fun or musn't have played alot of online shooters on the PS360. That word is used all the time

I'm not sure how that makes it ok.  People use a lot of immature and inappropriate words in online shooters on the PS360.  I hope it's not a representation of their entire userbase.

You all can call it my opinion if it makes you feel better.  Motion controls have a ways to go before being perfected.  The pointer however rivals a mouse.  It's in no way an opinion to say it's faster than an analog stick.  It travels the length of the screen instantly which an analog stick input can not do.  That's a fact.  As far as accuracy...well that depends on your wrist and eyes.

Proof or link?   Or should I continue to refer to it as BS

So proof for you is a link of someone on the internet saying it?  An analog stick doesn't move from one side of the screen to the other instantly.  That's a fact (we all know it including you).    The wii pointer can.  That's another fact.  Put those together and one becomes obviously faster than the other.  I'm not sure why you need a link for something so self evident.

Fixed for you again

So BS it is.   An analog stick can move quickly from one side of the screen to the other,  it just takes a quick flick of my thumb.   You keep saying instantly like the Wiimote can do it without even moving, when itn fact you have to move your wrist to do it.  Probably the same distance I have to move my thumb on the analog stick.

Again, if this was such an obvious advantage, then why arent the hardcore FPS gamers on the Wii and why arent there more FPS games on the Wii.  BECAUSE IT IS BS.

I think it is fine, but i am glad that Sony are giving the option of using the controls rather than having to use them for every game with no option not to use them!

Waste of time, just like the Wii's motion controller.

Until VR advances enough, the gimmicks, such as the Wii, will never be good.

I strongly believe there won´t be motion controls for neither the ps3 nor the 360.

See we can both do that.

By all means stay closed off to reality.  Most console FPS gamers (including you) are part of the "old guard" of gaming and will always resist change at every step.  The Wii has revived point&click games and rail-shooters only because of it's superior pointer input.  By your logic why aren't all FPS console gamers playing FPS on computer, or are you going to tell me that dual-analog is better than mouse/keyboard also?  Anyone that has had experience playing all 3 types of inputs can easily tell you that dual-analog is not the pinnacle of control in FPS's.  If PS3 had launched with a pointer device and not dual analog we wouldn't even be having this conversation.  One day you'll take off your tinted glasses.  I'm now finished having a futile "conversation" with you.

By all means stay closed off to Fantasy.  Most console FPS gamers (including you) are part of the "old guard" of gaming and will always resist change at every step.

A gimmick is not changing the way I play video games,   the main reason why all console FPS gamers are playing on PC is cost, it costs alot of money to have a gaming PC, and to keep it updated to play the latest games.  Whereas consoles are a one time cost.  But I do think that more an more FPS games on consoles are going to integrate keyboard and mouse systems like UT3 did.

I have had experience with your so-called pinnacle of FPS control systems and the Wiimote sucks for them.  The keyboard and mouse combo is the best followed by the dual analog setup.

If the Wii released with a real controller, a hard drive, good games and was in HD every gamer in the world would bow to its superiority and not call it a gimmick like it is today.   See I can do hypothetical situations also.

One day you will take off your Nintendo Fanboy glasses and see that everything that Nintendo does isnt the holy grail of gaming.

I have an xbox 360 and  Wii.  I appreciate all 3 consoles, just as I appreciate improvements being made to my hobby.  Motion control is gimmicky atm, but the pointer is not.  It is sad that you'll never appreciate anything that's not on your favorite plastic box.

I use and enjoy both types of controllers and that definitely makes me less biased.

Once again I hope your maturity level is not a representation of ps3 owners.
