Forums - Microsoft - Lost Planet 2, Interview and captivate footage.

@ RPG. There is no PC version in existance. The developer says the only version they are doing is 360. PC and PS3 if they happen will probabaly be 6-12 months later. Just goes to show, the footage is likely off 360 PC dev kits. In other words the 360 specs.

ugghhh no it's not Capcom said the game was running off PC since the engine runs primarily off PC. Not sure when the PC version will release but I can wait, better games relasing which I care about more.

Once again the demo was running off PC, gorgeous it must be said. It was noted in a Kotaku article, look that up before asking me for a link. There is nothing the 360 cannot do though looking at that demo, it's not "ZOMG AMAZING!" so the 360 version will probably look like that.

Wow! looks way way better than I expected!

@ RPG. Well I think it looks better than anything currently out. Those explosions own any game. The shockwaves as well. Great foliage reaction. Incredible Capcom. Also so much going on screen, including massive boss with so much detail. Pure OMG!

Looks downright amazing. Not just the graphics, but the action too...

Capcom is manhandling every other developer this gen.

They seem to be the only Japanese developer that can match the technical prowess of the best Western developers. I've been impressed with their HD efforts for the most part.

Not only that, but also the output... on the 360 they are averaging two full-blown retail games per year, on top of the vast XBLA offerings.

Quality, quantity and profits.

Yeah you make an excellent point. How is that Capcom has been able to churn out so many impressive games while SE can't even finish FFXIII before I get my senior citizen's discount.

The game does look very good - somewhat a mixture of GoW2 and NG2 (from a graphics standpoint). Very shiny. I never played anything more than the demo of the first, so I might check it out.

That being said, the explosions don't look even close to as good as KZ2 explosion/smoke. I mean...its really not even close.

There's still another year of development though? It could look mighty good by release time (it already does....)

Yeah Capcom is awesome. They just need to release a ground-up Wii resident evil game.

@ epicurean.

Really? To be honest I thought KZ2's explosions were great, nut not as good as the LP2 explosions. LP2 smoke is miles better and the fire looks bloody real. Also the usage of post processing effects for the explosions in LP2 gave a feeling of heat coming towards the player. Never got that in KZ2. Also the shockwaves of the explosions visible on the foliage was amazing. Theres a reason why many see this as "KZ2 killer" or " The new benchmark " as many people have called it around the internet.

Mismanagement?
