LOL, this is like the 100th tread about the ps3 motion controll
motion control.... does the Dualshock 3 and SixAxis not exist?

Thats a cool story, bro.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

what theprof00 said. Basically wii motion + is another dot which makes it able to see the wiimote as a line instead :p so i don't know why you're laughing.. unless it's of your silly !

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

So the PS3 is getting a controller that works like ROB that will move itself without your help?
MGS4 spoiler alert there. Sorry folks.
I read another story about this a couple of days ago, supposedly from a very credible source. Sony are prepping some kind of Wiimote/Eyetoy hybrid device for E3 and want third party devs to start supporting it.
Perhaps combined with a price cut, this marks Sony making a serious attempt to capture the casual market? (with PS3, that is)

More than that
wow seriously guys, you are confusing the Wii's motion actuators with its IR pointer function, they do work in tandem, but not the way you guys think it does. also the WM+ does not just add "a second dot" to the IR functionality as it has been announced to be a gyroscope, giving the Wii six axes of movement. before the wiimote only picked up linear movement which is why you could flick the wiimote any direction and make it register. You guys all have the "dot" theory backwords, as all the sensor bar is, is an LED light, it i the Wii remote that sees the 2 lights and adjusts accordingly.
and before anyone says it, the ps3 has never used more than 3 axes, and there is no IR pointer on the system it uses motion actuators as well.
