wow seriously guys, you are confusing the Wii's motion actuators with its IR pointer function, they do work in tandem, but not the way you guys think it does. also the WM+ does not just add "a second dot" to the IR functionality as it has been announced to be a gyroscope, giving the Wii six axes of movement. before the wiimote only picked up linear movement which is why you could flick the wiimote any direction and make it register.  You guys all have the "dot" theory backwords, as all the sensor bar is, is an LED light, it i the Wii remote that sees the 2 lights and adjusts accordingly.

 

and before anyone says it, the ps3 has never used more than 3 axes, and there is no IR pointer on the system it uses motion actuators as well.
