Why? Do you use a limited account? I know a way around that :P

Assuming you use XP, restart the laoptop and press F8. You should get a screen with all the modes (Safe mode, normal, etc.). Choose Safe mode with networking and they you can go to to the Adminstrator account (different from whatever Admin account you have in the normal user selection screen). You can just use Firefox (or whatever you use. Assuming you use FF, run the safe mode version of the browser) and download it from there. You can also make your account an admin and make other admin/limited accounts if you want.

Well, the way its set up is that they have an account that only exists so that no one can download anything. The only one we use is the "family" one. We also have Vista... It doesn't matter much; I'll be getting a laptop before the end of the month.

No, I hate using beta's as they are more likely to be buggy and crash. Firefox crashes enough in released state (hangs on close), why would I want something potentially worse.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
