Wikipedia is a terrible source for business numbers. Forbes Global 2000 is a lot more reliable. According to them Microsoft market value is 253.15B and Sony is at 48.03B.

WalMart is by far the "richest" company in the world. If I recall, if it was a country, it'd be around the 30th richest country in the world (don't quote me on that, though).
