Ok, last night I was playing COD4 on my xbox 360 and within an hour and a half I ran across 2 different cheaters that had invincibility.  This is getting rediculous and I was wondering how those ass's can do this and get away with it.

Can a person playing COD4 on the computer play against people on xbox or playstation 3?  It is getting out of hand and the only way I can think of them cheating is if they are on the computer playing.  I know this may be wrong but I don't go looking for cheats.  Is there any way to get them banned from live service?  

I know Infinity Ward has came out publicly stating they will do something soon to stop cheating.  But this day cannot get here soon enough.  Because COD4 is my favorite game. :((

Let's not forget the glitches where in some levels you can fly in midair over the whole map sniping people as they run around. Once i saw this i gave up on COD4 completely.

Are you sure they were invincible, or did it feel like you kept shooting them and they didn't die?

Oftenly, I'll kill the same person 5 or 6 times because it'll be really even and they'll get me to near death each time just before I kill them, so it may seem like I was invincible to them (maybe that's how you feel?)

Actually, one balancer in cod 4 and 5 is that if you play HQ, a lot of the HQ's are in places unreachable by the glitch bitches. A friendlist person on my PSN list showed me, because I was wondering how those glitch bitches did it, the first map I'd ever seen it done was in castle on WaW, then it turned out nearly half the maps on both games you can do it.

Always watch your non-airstrike/helicopter kill-cams. Aside from understanding why you came off second best in a confrontation, it also alerts you areas people may be exploiting.

I can't wait for MW2. 6 more months of people not cheating (because they haven't figured it out yet) once that drops.

Yup Cheater192 created a mod for COD4 on the 360... He didn't spread it.. It was intended for internal use.. but some "friends" found out how to use the mod and it spread like a virus... Hope they will patch it up soon...

Yes these guys were deffinately cheating and invincible.  When the entire team shoots him and throughs granades and you don't die when they land on you,  your cheating.  The first guy had a helicopter within 1 min of playing and he also went fast and was walking in air too.  

The fellow was on my team,  and the other team left all but one person.

Call of Duty - Glitches and Cheaters

i don't think there is anything that bad on the ps3 version, but on the crossfire map there was a guy who found a way to get to the top balcony of the middle building. he was sniping people with near impunity.

They may have been using "Perks". I know I used to play against lots of overpowered opponents, back in the day.

I know how to do that. It's not easy getting up there. It's almost not worth the trouble of trying.

I haven't uncovered these invincible guys yet. Hopefully I won't have to. Does their glitch work for Hardcore too?
