Splinter Cell Conviction has not been seen for several years, so are you suggesting they had in game stuff back then? Alan Wake, meh, we'll see when we get some gameplay footage. I duuno about the other ones. Final Fantasy XIII is confirmed for this year, but Heavy Rain, Alan Wake and Splinter Cell Conviction certainly aren't (the latter is before March 2010 though). Though many of these shots might be in engine, the devs have very likely touched them up, and use higher resolution textures than they would when you are actually playing the game, like Naughty Dog did with Uncharted: Drake's Fotune. Are you suggesting that in the previews of Uncharted 2 (pretty much the only game that has had some sort of playtesting by the press) they have not mention how great it looks, and some have already nominated it for GOTY.

Out of curiosity have you been over to the new Splinter Cell news in M$ forums, about the devs saying it's releasing this year?

Alan Wake also has been said that Release is all but confirmed in leaks. Waiting for E3 for M$ to make it official. Why pick on me with release dates when you talk about FF13, GOW3 and others mention GT5. Those 3 games are the MOST likeliest of all the games in this thread not to make 2009.

As you are happy to go on rumours (ignoring that Final Fantasy XIII has been confirmed for a winter release in Japan), Splinter Cell has gone back to the drawing board, wait until E3 before we talk about this.

Most of the M$ exclusives have barely been shown, Uncharted 2 and God of War III have had gameplay shown, and it looks incredible

Well if you believe M$ are going into holiday season with only Halo ODST I guess you may come to that conclusion. M$ arent spending $$$$$$$ more than any other company at this years E3 for no reason. Devs are leaking info on titles that they are out 2009. M$ will come with a thunder for footage and advertising this E3 with Alan Wake, SC Conviction and by the sounds of things Forza 3. M$ will have a very impressive AAA lineup for 2nd half 2009.

I'm not saying that, I am saying that we don't really know how these games are going to look because we have not seen gameplay of them. To be honest, it is entirely guesswork until late November, but suggesting that Uncharted 2 is not competing at all is a complete joke

Who said MS were spending $$$$$$ more than other companies at E3?

It seems people are really jumping the gun and assuming that MS will have the best E3 because thus far the games announced for 09 are minimal. It seems people will have a mind fuck when Nintendo and Sony also announce some huge games at E3. :/

Anyway Sony's E3 will by the sounds of it be revolved around the PSP which is going to be so so fun. :D

Where is killzone??? GT5? i'm pretty sure they have basically confirmed GT5 this holiday season

I'm not saying Uncharted 2 doesnt look great. ButI think it's not as good as KZ2. And if I dont think the graphics award will go to KZ2 why would I put Uncharted 2 there?

Ive seen video gameplay footage for Alan Wake and SC. N32 is based off screens as is AC 2. Heavy Rain Ive also seen gameplay footage of. Heavy Rain isnt there out of needing to put a PS3 exclusive in. I genuinely believe Heavy Rain is amazing graphically.

Also Lost Planet 2 would be there but it's 2010. We seem here out of sorts with what the rest of the internet forums think about Lost Planet 2. Some here call it meh. Where as many forums like Gametrailers, Gamersyde, Gamespot are saying it's incredible and the new benchmark. Personally I think it has the best explosions of any game, and the shockwaves from those that affect the scenery like the foliage in the video is incredible. Definately like many say the better than we have witnessed in any other console game to date.

Well I would put Killzone 2 on that list as well, it looks unbelievable, as does Uncharted, it is just your opinion, but you should really take other people's views into consideration as you are not going to be the only person judging them at the end of the year
