Well IW's next game is Modern Warfare 2, so nobody really knows what is going on
It seems like a reasonable idea. Activision should keep some differentiation between the yearly releases, and as we are all tired of WWII, and you can't really go back any further, Vietnam seems reasonable, though I would do Korea first

They really need to sort those names out. Anyway, If Treyarch are making it, I probably wont buy it after COD5's shittyness. (My opinion)

Who knows what they are doing... I still think Mordern Warfare 2 should be Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2

What I heard was that Infinity Ward is angry about having to work rather crappy developers like Treyarch on the same franchise. Treyarch uses the cod4 engine and had to be helped by Infinity on making cod5. So Infinity said fuck you Activision and dropped the cod label.
