Ever since the Enix merger, the FF games haven't been as good when it was just Squaresoft  Tetsuya was also the Graphic Director and minor character designer for FFVI.  He's been working with Square since FFIV as a debugger and just a monster designer for FFV.

The series was going downhill long before the Enix merger occurred, and again, Enix really has nothing to do with the FF games.  Nomura's involvement in FFVI was not significant, as Tetsuya Takahashi, Hideo Minaba and Kazuko Shibuya had more prominent graphic design roles, and main character design and image illustration were by Amano (as mentioned).



Hates Nomura.

The staff has changed in both departments, "Enix" employee's didn't have anything to do with FF, but the new employee's that were hired since the merger have been.

 

Also, 1 person doesn't ruin a game, a goup of people can though.

This is always such a stupid complaint.  Final Fantasy hasn't been 'destroyed'.  It is still a series overflowing with titles.  So overfloweing, it has made 25 titles with the name 'Final Fantasy' in the last 3 years.  Where does Enix come into play in all of this?  Enix had no hand in the decision to focus Final Fantasy on high budget cutscenes and realistic graphics.  Enix had no part in the decision to spend over 500 million on the first full CGI Movie ever made.

 

Enix is just a publisher.  All the games made under the Enix label are made by other groups.  Like TriAce/Armor Project/Treasure/Level 5, etc.  People need to stop blaming Enix for the decisions that the Square side is making.

destroyed in a way their design gamed are the most sold FF EVER!.

the moment he is not a character designer, FF sells about 5 million.
