The Wii is way below from the PS2 at the time, the PS3 has this little bump on March and April, but it's still below the Gamecube. Believe it or not the XBOX 360 is the only console with a constant rate

It's both the recession and the lack of compelling software released in the first half of this year that's contributing to the problem at the moment.  Maybe MH3 and some more software come 2nd half of '09 will do the trick.

I´ll wait and see how MH3 performs.

Yeah i noticed that the wii started tracking below PS2 a while ago.

Hmmm, The PS3 and 360 both have constant rates, in fact, the 360 has a constant growing rate, the PS3 is about flat.
Still those 2 consoles mean next to nothing to the industry, so what's really important is to see the Wii sales.

If you check the Wii rates, they have been going down since launch, maybe that reflects waht the overall gaming audience thinks about the Wii as time passes by. That is an almost vertical drop for the Wii line, extremely steep. Nintendo should have something prepared for the second half, as well as some third party unannounced games if they want that line to start pointing up.
