Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo thread: What are some good Wii games that are out now?

@superchunk

If we're talking upcoming games (in the next 3 months), lets not forget SSBB, Nights, Fire Emblem, Dewy's Adventure, Zack & Wiki, MOH: Heroes 2, DBZ: Budokai 3, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, Trauma Center 2, Soul Calibur Legends (maybe), Donkey Kong Barrel Blast (maybe) and Nitrobike (maybe).

Yes -- it definitely seems as though Nintendo has the best holiday lineup.  But he was talking about games available right now, and there are plenty of good Wii games out now and even a few stellar awesome Wii games out now (especially Metroid, which just came out).

I was relaying games i have played and games i will probably buy. Though the games you listed are gonna be good. I just don't see myself buying them.

Zelda/Metroid are amazing games, so in my opinion the 350 you would spend to get a wii, Zelda, Metroid, and Wii Sports (also extremely fun) is well worth it. After that it would depend on your taste.

Raving Rabbids and Warioware are great fun for multiplayer (and I enjoy Mario Party 8 every now and the as well.) but if you aren't interested in multiplayer you might wanna rent or pass.

On purely single player, Resident Evil 4 is worth it even if you played it on GC/PS2 as the controls make it almost an entirely new experience. Super Paper mario was also excellent, and Trauma Center is worth it if you didn't play the DS version, or if you REALLY enjoyed the DS version.

Other than that the only games I have any time with were Scarface (just So So,) Wii Play, worth it for the controller in my opinion, Red Steel (also just so so), Madden (meh), and some of the cartoon games (do not get, even if you are a fan)

I am a Gauntlet Adventurer.

I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly. What Video Game Character Are You?

I completely agree with CrashMan. Zelda/Metroid/WiiSports make the perfect trio for Wii.

WarioWare > Rayman IMO

SSX and Godfather are pretty good, but only if you're into those kinds of games.
