Amazing!!!

I just grabbed this game last night for my 360 and played it for about an hour with 2 of my friends.  I got 140G already and survived for 11:26 on Hospital with just my 2 other buddies and one AI buddy.

The controls are pretty straightforward, and while it isn't the most realistic or precise (no real "sights" aiming), it isn't necessary!  This game excels on replayability and fun factor, and I haven't even tried the campaign or versus modes yet!  The only thing I wish is that they could balance it out with some weapon updates.  Pretty much the only used weapon in survival mode was the shotgun and I'd like to see them mix things up so that a sniper or assault rifle would actually make sense to use

Yep, it's pretty much the greatest shooter in years for me. When I play survival or versus, I find the AI teammates mess everything up by being stupid. Regardless, the recent free DLC added a lot to the game and it's always good to see new people pick this game up and get into it.

Assault rifle makes a lot of sense to use in versus, especially if other teammates are using shottys. It can be useful in survival as well, as we got 10m55s on Blood Harvest 2 (forget the name) with two guys having assault rifles, and we didn't refill ammo even once. Try that level with all autoshottys and let me know how long you last.

Actually, when we were doing the hospital, the AI actually helped because he kept getting all the hunters and smokers to go after him and we'd just have to save him. So we didn't have to worry too much about it

My best on the Hospital is 9m and a few seconds. We came close but not quite it seems.

What room were you in?  We found a room that is basically in the main hallway by the amo, and only has one entrance (no other walls or doors).  It opens up at the first wave so you just shoot through them and this is a very defensible spot.  Just grab your molotovs, start the round, and head for that room.  It has like 4 pipe bombs in it, a thing of pills, and is just overall a very defensible position.

I just played this game a couple of hours ago, it was fun playing the different campaigns in versus mode, haven't tried survival yet. It is a good game though I might start playing it more again.

we always play this every friday night at my buds house while we get wasted by Jack Daniels and cheetos. fun as hell!

You tell the truth, I found L4D awesome and I only played it for a couple of hours at my friends house.

Im getting a Zombie fettish as of late, Im even loving that Burn Zombie Burn game of the PS Store. Im playing COD WaW Zombie maps aswell and Im looking forward to Dead Rising 2

I've mainly spent most of my time in survival trying to make it in The Last Stand. I've done well in the others, but I can't seem to make it in that one worth a darn.

the one at the end of the hallway? that's the one we defended. seemed to keep getting owned around the 9m mark though.

and just so noone thinks assault rifles are useless (lol)
