Wow hold on a sec. 360 Wireless wheel is very very good. I own it, and as you all know am a massive real life racing fan.

The force feedback is better than the G25 wheels. And the wheel feels much sturdier. None of it feels plasticy at all. The only thing it doesnt have is a gear lever. But obviously it has the paddles, which I will add is the best paddles Ive used. Saying that as a F1 fan, thats the only way I will use the gears. :)

Heres a review of it, and the force feedback in action.

No wheel on the market comes close to the G25, if you're a real racing fan and you take out your 360 goggles you'll see that.

Ihave a G25 for my PC and GTR 2. As I said the 360 wheel has better force feedback.

400 cars - not that impressive. 100 tracks is nice though.

Accoring to Wiki:

GT1 - 178 Cars/11 Tracks
GT2 - 650 Cars/27 Tracks (Already beats Forza 3)
GT3 - 150 Cars (Its back down, but the cars contain much more detail. Not sure about tracks)
GT4 - 700 Cars
GT5P - 71 Cars
GT5 - I predict over 1,000 cars.

if you consider that in GT series they count every posible version of the same car as new one then it's not that many. GT4 had maybe 140-150 different cars in total(there was 50 Skylines, 25 Lancers and 20 Imprezas).
.

Good point. I never considered that. That does change a lot. I would still think Gran Turismo 2 and 4 had more different cars though.

Forza 3 with 400 cars is very good though.

here's an interesting article comparing racing times in Forza 1 compared to real world racing times.

The Turn 10 Weekly Pitpass Report

Just a snippet from the Report.

"In fact some of you may remember the features we did on Turn 10’s Lead SDE, Colin Reed, showcasing his sick G35 coupe. If you haven’t then you’re missing out big-time…check out his ride here. So anyways Colin is a very visual guy, and being that he is primarily in charge of making our next game look as badass as possible, it’s no surprise that he knows how to make us look good. Over this past week he and I have been throwing visual jabs at each other with our latest in-game pictures, going back and forth to see who can come out on top. What makes our photos particularly crazy and dynamic is the fact that our water physics have gone beyond just about any watersports game you've seen on a console, simulating waves, ripple effects, and surface tension to the next level of realism. Of course it’s a friendly competition (if you even want to call it that) and primarily we’ve been using these pictures to further along the visual look of our next game. This is a very good thing, and judging by the visual difference between our first batch and the latest… we’ve made some very significant progress. At the very least, we have the nicest collection of superboats ever captured in screenshots."

Looks like whatever game they are working on is going to have some nice water effects.  Could be a water sports game.

"Here's the logo of the new game we're working on. Guess it's official:"-Turn 10

The logo is obviously a joke. You can see where they added the line on he bottom - it doesn't even blend in properly!

Will they advertise it heavily to spoil the GT5 launch and hopefully steal some of GT5s thunder or will they advertise a moderate amount based upon the expected sales of the game? Knowing Microsoft I probably shouldn't watch tv near release for fear of having to watch 3-5 advertisements for the game on the same night!

Is any one actully foolish enough to really want Forza3 to go at it with GT5 ? why would you want to sink the game ?

god this game looks good. Cannot wait

Long Live SHIO!
