You could buy 10 of these map packs and pay 60 bucks. Or you could buy one singleplayer with not that much replayability and a campaign of 10 hours and you'd pay the sam 60 bucks.

indeed, or rather the RLOD followed by a quick YLOD when trying to boot with not even enough time to eject the disc.  My fan turns on, my hard drive works (tested on PC and another PS3 to see if it's recognized), so it's either power supply or motherboard/cell I would guess.

I really don't think this was completed before release. It's been what two months? You don't think they could designed two maps in that time?

yeah.  The CoD4 map pack was $10, wasn't it?  I'm not sure because I got it from a shared account, just like Rock Band songs.

unless more than 90% of the games online have the maps and I wouldn't be able to join them I'm not getting them. I'm really happy with the 8 maps on the disc once I get bored with them I'll give this a go (and it doesn't help that those two levels were the worst levels in the single player for me)

You PS3 fanboys guys are really soooo cheap... I though it was only about bashing the price of XBLIVE but .... it is also about spending 5 bucks on KZ2... so lame

I personally havne't bought them because it just feels like a ripoff. I'd rather use that $6 on a PSN game that'd be worth the cash.

$5-10 map packs are standard nowadays so no one complains. The ripoff becomes dead obvious when you consider the fact that PC gamers get tons of new maps every week for free...
