I need to seriously add these to my library! But that isn't bad. I mean development was expected to be long. I never got the chance to play the original on the PS2. I remember Softmax releasing a Magna Carta on the PS2 though. Gameinformer magazine gave that game a nice score. I think an 8/10. Not bad, but I'm certainly attached to this game for some odd reason. It's the art style and story is what I'm more curious about. Making it one of the top JRPG's for me, then the mediocre games like Enchanted Arms and Blue Dragon on the Xbox 360.

I'd add Tales of Vesperia to that list!

It's better than Star Ocean.

I heard some good things about Star Ocean 4 though! So to speak it generated a nice marketing campaign. I saw a huge load of commercials on television. Was it really that bad? I mean it had to be better than Blue Dragon!

Hey If it's a damn good RPG I don't care how long it takes - as long as the company isn't losing money (games are not a charity product sadly). I'll gladly wait another five years for Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2 if they are built to perfection.

Well, I'd say it's about as good as Blue Dragon. The overall story is bit better in Star Ocean, but SO has so many techical flaws that bring it down.

Didn't experience either of those problems.  Framerate seemed solid throughout and the game never froze once.  I'm running my 360 at 720p since that's my projector's native resolution.  Are you running in 1080?
