Forums - Gaming - Help me choose which JRPG to play next :)

Grandia is a 60+hours game... were you actually have to put in 60 hours to complete it... not like ToS where the 60 hours mean: take your time, walk around, don't run, heck you can finish this game within 25 hours.... :P

Soriku? have you ever played Grandia?

How about Brave Story? Have anyone played it here? I really like the design.

Then go buy it... and you better don't diss it like you did with Skies of Arcadia... the jrpg fans here will find you and make you play Hannah Montana the Movie on the wii for the rest of your life... (no.. no smiley... i'm serious..)

Grandia 1

- Awesome story
- Awesome characters
- Amazing music

You should also play Tales of Symphonia. I didn't like it that much but you might love it so play it after you play Grandia 1. Also try to get Grandia 2 (its one of my favorite jrpgs).

If you like Suikoden, IV, even with its myriad of problems and disappointments is still a good game. Though I'd recommend III instead, it's much, much better

Chrono Cross!

Well, I have that one too so it's an option I loved Chrono Trigger so... How does it hold up against it?

@piggychan

Alright. Sounds good.

People dont look at it as even being close to Chrono Trigger, but it is  my all time favorite RPG.

If you like turn-base and silent heroes, this games for your

If you like great music and awesome storylines, this games for you

None of the above, dont play the game and i die a little inside because yet another person doesnt recognize the greatness of this game.

I played Brave Story, I think its pretty good. It is however a little on the short and easy side. I beat it in like 16hours, you could get around 20 with doing some extra stuff. It has interesting story and characters and the soundtrack is pretty good too. I say play that on the road or something like that.

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

Play Grandia.

Why? Because it has the easiest title to type.

persona 4. The game is epic, long, jrpg, and there's even a date sim built in. scores of hours (they advertise something like 60+) I can't do it justice :p
