Tekken is not most. Sure Tekken CAN be a button masher (Like every other fighter ) but it wont get you far against veterans. That's why Tekken is great imo. It's easy to learn, but a bitch to master.

Not only that, tekken has the most advanced move system of any fighter.. with up towards 150 combos for some chars.. no other games comes anywhere near it. A lot of people whine about tekken and claim some other game superior.. but those are games where your char is able to perform 10 different things and you'll have to spam 1 or 2 of them and has a impossible learning curve..

 

This game is the one that stands above them all.... This is The King.. of Iron Fist Tournament... Enter.. The Tekken !

That can be said about any fighter. I've played people on SC4 that I couldn't even touch. VF5 is a very difficult game to master as well.

Street Fighter and other Capcom fighters are the best in regards to competitive gameplay. Considering the 360 has SF2 Turbo, SF2 HD, SF4, and (soon) MvC2 I think its pretty clear people can't get enough of those games. Tekken 6 is just the flavor of the month much like all the other 3D fighters have been..

^Like i said above. Tekken stands above all other fighters. It's amazingly deep both in gameplay and story. And before someone claims story doesn't matter.. Well.. it does to some. :p

Actually I wouldn't consider the story great by any means. But it does make the characters interesting and gives the game more personality. That adds replay value even if the game itself isn't that enjoyable. Tekken needs that to be interesting.

VF5 lacks story and personality but the gameplay itself is much more enjoyable.

Is he talking about downgrade the PS3 version?

Tekken story took a nose dive after Tekken 3.



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Tekkens story is epic. Tekken 6 takes place during a world war 3 where private armys duke it out... Jin leading the mishima zaibatzu and Kazuya leading G coorporation with it's jack robots.
