Mine would have to be a sega saturn or the dreamcast. I used to love playing both systems over my friend's houses but I never got my own.

sega dreamcast . doa, grandia 2, skies of arcadia, shenmue. and it looked freaking awesome at the time.

dreamcast, everything i hear about it are good things, well except that flop thing.

NES
Although I've played the NES many times at my friends and cousins houses, I would of like to actually own it.
I'd probably have to say the saturn as well although some others like the genesis would probably be somewhat close too
“When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” They told me I didn’t understand the assignment and I told them they didn’t understand life." - author unknown

Lol yeah. I was surprised when it flopped, since most of my friend's had it and I new a ton of people that wanted.
Sega CD, so I could get Night Trap.
Then a DreamCast and a PS2. I'll be getting a PS2 later in the year when I have some money to blow on games again.
Most of my friends and family had the SNES. My family had the Genesis. Even though I got to play the SNES quite a bit, I still would have rather picked it.
However, I guess if I really had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change anything for the world (I had some great memories with a lot of games with all of my friends).
I haven't really "missed" a system since the Master System. I'm not including Sega CD and crap like that, though.
Maybe the Turbo Grafix but even then, I had friends who owned it and played several games on the system for hours on end (Bonk FTW!).
Actually, I don't even know if I've ever played a 3D0. Then again, I'm not missing much there.
