If the original Gears of War then you have a launch model that was waiting to "RROD". I'm surprised it lasted these past few years. Just call Microsoft for a replacement or get rid of it and pick up a Arcade SKU for $200. But this does suck, and you haven't even got the chance to play Fallout 3!

So you indeed must own a launch Xbox 360 with the Zephyr motherboard. Those motherboards so that you know, are not reliable and are expected to "RROD" anytime. But your lived for quite sometime. I know it sucks, but Microsoft now has made some reliable Xbox 360's now that are on the market. I wouldn't hesitate sending your unit to them or buying a Arcade as I suggested.
