No chance. If Xbox 3 is planned for a Nov 2011 launch, E3 in 2010 is the earliest.
i dont think that we will get at the next home system for awihle. but there is a chance that we could see a portable.
@slimebeast
sounds about right that's why I wondered if they might talk about a vision for micosoft gaming future or what we could expect.
@dsister44

You mean this thread E3 2009: Microsoft Promises Transformational Show ?
"Microsoft is gearing up for a big presence at E3 which will completely transform how people think about home entertainment."
I don't think that statement fits with the announcment of a portable.
maybe a plug-in box addition to the X360 like the Playtv or something ?
I doubt it will be a whole new console TBH

Proud Sony Rear Admiral
Would be hilarious if they showed a small addition to the 360 that allowed to mimick games from the PS3 onto the 360 without having to buy a PS3 >_>

It would be too early, imho as the 360 is steaming alone, and is on track to sell 50 million consoles, so why mess that up. I think we might get info on an updated 360 console, since the 45nm chipset is still on the horizon. I think we are going to get a preview to the Next iteration of XBL, with more multimedia features. Over the last year, M$ spent a ton of money in R&D within the EDD division, and while we got NXE functionality, that hardly accounted for over $100 million of R&D.
Its probably got something to do with XBL, unless Intel cut Microsoft a killer deal they couldn't refuse, I.E massive performance at minimum cost to push their new GPGPU platform, I don't see them announcing anything to do with an Xbox next.
Tease.
