Selnors graphics comparisons always seem to end up with him being proven wrong, yet he continues to stand his ground.

Youd do well to know I didnt post the comparison. A Sony fan did. And he posted a comparison that showed GT5 P in horrible light. So Blame them for making PGR4 look 10 times better.

Lol, it is painstakingly obvious that the gamma adjustment on the GT shots there are wayyyy down. You can't even see the dashboard and the people in some shots are like shadows and in one shot you almost can't see the white lines on the road. The length some folks go to to make a game appear worse looking than it is simply staggers me (not you selnor, the guy who made this "comparison"). If something looks good, just tone down the lights on the TV till you can't see anything. Seriously, its like Alone in the Dark! I mean, look at this /! It doesn't look like that at all in real life! Can't you see that the gamma has been adjusted waaay down? In some of the interior shots you can't even see the outline of the dials or the dash itself!

It is common knowledge that more geometry is one of the MAIN elements needed for better realism. Lighting is another one of those elements. OBVIOUSLY, GT5P has a LOT more geometry than PGR4. Plus, PGR4 doesn't have HDR lighting or consistent shadows and GT5P does. Therefore, realism has to be less on PGR4 via scientific evidence of what is proven to achieve better realism. So while saying that one prefers PGR4's lesser realism is fine, saying PGR4 is more realistic than GT5P is inaccurate.
dont worry ppl i got day off tomorrow il take some in game shots of pgr4 tomorrow and post them in a thread.

It doesn't matter how many pictures are provided. Some of these people's goal is to lie to themselves and/or others about this.

So you cherry-picked a shitty set of comparison shots rather than cherry-picking the shots themselves.
"What do you think?" All opinions are equal! Just analyze these photos and see which game looks better! LOL.

I disagree. That is the point. What we experience when we look at a screenshot or a video is unique to each individual. It's subjective, I think is the word.
There may be that there is a very large percentage of the population that shares the same view on one particular aspect of it, but that does not mean that it is in some way an objective view.
"... you have not discovered anything." - Based on the way people on this forum treat opinions and speaks of graphics, you might very well think that I discovered that all by myself.
This is invisible text!
by some screenshots, GT5P doesn't look like the best out there but when you compare them on the actual TV playing. GT5P is the best.
pgr4 has poor graphics when compared to prologue. so to me its between GT5 and shift, even then i think GT5 is better graphicly
