Forums - General - Good unexpected surprises

So I got Resistance 2. It`s a great game, but that`s not what I want to talk about.

My brother was traveling to the US and I asked him to buy it for me and I would pay him back when he got back.

You see, my brother is someone who is not very generous. At least, not to me.

But he came back and, to my surprise and shock, decided that the game was a present.

So I was really happy. Specially, because I didn`t see this coming at all.

So it got me thinking. Have you ever had an unexpected good surprise?

Something you weren`t expecting at all?

Come on. Share with the group.

I once traded in some games for store credit at EBGames. I got 3 games in return. There was a kid in the store looking at games, and I asked him which one of the 3 games he thought was the best. Then, I gave him the one he liked the most. I used to do stuff like this all the time.

I've given VC games to a few people on my Wii friends list for absolutely no reason.

I've paid for people's gas at gas stations and I don't even know why.

I pay for people's food at Subway on a regular basis. (no big deal because I get food for half price).

Once, one of my partners pulled over a hispanic family who were on their way to the beach or something. They were miles and miles away from home. My partner wound up towing their car, and making the driver pay a ton of money to avoid going to jail (a cash bond, he called it). It was a legit situation, though. No insurance or no license or something like that. I felt kind of bad for them, being in a strange town with no money, so I took them all to McDonald's and told them to get whatever they wanted. Then I payed for their hotel so they had somewhere to stay whilst somebody came from out of town to pick them up.

As far as me receiving stuff, women have offered to put my penis in their mouths! I guess it's all of the good karma I built up, huh?
