these games were awesome!

The Jungle Book was hard IMO. at least, when I was a kid it was hard :P but it was amazing too

but not as hard as Daffy Duck: Marvin Missions

Easily one of my all time favorite games on the Genesis.

This game aged very nicely.

What made these games hard were the detailed animations. Virgin (I think) did a great job capturing the feel of the animated movies, but damn!! Those fluid animations were too long and some of the sprites were too big. I think there are cheat codes for some of them, but I can't recall.

oh there are, I cheated all the time in The Jungle Book, I couldn't get past Kaa in the third or fourth level, and there was a cheat to select the level, and that's how I could finish the game!

Uh, I have that game and it is not hard at all.... I have beat it numerous times in one sitting and don't see how it is any harder than your average 8-bit or 16-bit Mario game.

I remember beating them all and thinking they had a reasonable level of difficulty.

Mickey Mania was probably one of my favorite Genesis games too.

Isn't this the game that was on Mega Drive? If so it wasn't all that hard. I finished it quite easily.
