Forums - Microsoft - E3 2009: Microsoft Promises Transformational Show

There's no mention of consoles or gaming in this PR cloud. Most probably the "blockbuster" mention is quite literal and it's all about movies, music and tv streaming and downloading.

They could be launching their own new integrated worldwide video/music shop and the Zune HD is probably also involved as a player.

This. I also love the fact they say thats to start with. Jesus. How much are they throwing at us this E3. Bring it on, I'm salivating M$!!!!

Master Chief piloting a Gundam to fight Tranformers? I'd buy it.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Bet: If Kingdom Hearts 3 becomes a multiplaform title/is not Wii exclusive then I will be banished from this land for 1 week and sing my praises to those who have proved themselves to be more intelligent than I.http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/RDBRaptor/rdbraptor_sig16.jpg%5B/IMG%5D">

"Microsoft is gearing up for a big presence at E3 which will completely transform how people think about home entertainment. We're excited about the momentum that is building in the industry in anticipation of our June 1st media briefing, which will kick off E3 in blockbuster style."

1) something with Gears of War? Expansion, drift off in new genre?

2) Transformers exclusivity? (Seems difficult as I think it's connected to Sony?)

3) more features that make it the "hub" of the living room. The obvious music, video, pictures, movies deal, imho.

4) sim city? (nah, just kidding, although that would be nice imho ^^)

5) Hmm, movies seems the most obvious, but on the other hand, Sony has their hand in most movies, no? Would make it a) difficult b) good for sony in general as well.

All in all, I hope they get some titles I'll be jealous about too (as long as they don't swipe exclusivity on existing games, especially those I'm looking forward too). In any case: I want a "shit, now we've got to do better"-deal from both console builders (sorry, not including wii as I'm not interested in it at all), giving me better games all around ^^

microsoft was really quiet in this year. I expect a really big e3 from them. bigger than ff13.

@ zordiark: a new smaller xbox 360 that has all kinds of changeable parts that you can add (to transform) to it, would be a good move, especially a slim version.
