Forums - Sales - Any idea on how Heavely Sword is doing in this first few days of sales?

Are you not understanding that solid online play improves longevity immensely?

Globox, like Rocketpig, like Arkk are right. The Game is short Jimmay, get over it.

No, 7 hours of normal gameplay and 13 hours to do everything is not short.

7 hours for a game inc. cutscenes and loading is short. I think you'll find pretty much every major review site will agree with me on this one.

Guess halo 3 is short as well, only lasts for 9 hours...

Halo as a series is essentially online games with a very nice single player campaign attached. HS lacks that component and as such has far lower replayability.

If we can believe ioi the game did it 'ok' in sales but how much is ok?

O i understand that, just like adding unlockables takes heavenly sword's 7 hours of gameplay and turns it into 13 hours. Then their is also hell mode which unlocks once you have done it on normal adding another 8 hours.

Jimmay, you're being borderline trollish. 5-7 hours your first time through any game is short, even 13 hours to get everything for a single player game (and I'm pretty sure you've exaggerated that number) is pretty damn short as well. Games like Gears of War and Halo depend heavily on online gameplay therefor offer the player something more beyond single player experience.

Sorry that most of us don't play blindfolded with the controller upside down in our hands to get the most out of our gameplay experience like yourself apparently but short of staring at the title screen for three hours there's really no way to argue this is a long game or one with much replay value.

Jimmay......
get over it....

Why did you bring bioshock in to compare HS, seriously only hurting your case Bioshock is 20 hours average, and i spent 25 because i went through every nook and cranny looking and admiring the time spent, not only that but ive only seen one of the two endings.

Bioshock seems to be alot longer then HS

HS seems to be a good game, but a bit short, can you not understand this?

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

Fact - if you rush through the game you can do it in just over 5 hours.

Fact - if you play the game at an average pace but only want to do the basics then you can do it in roughly 7 hours.

Fact - if you want to collect all the style points in the game it will take you roughly 13 hours.

Fact - if you want to do every single thing in the game including completing the game on hell mode then that will take you over 20 hours.

If people just want to do the basics and have it done in 5-7 hours then woopy for you, you missed out on many hours of fun.

Jimmay let it go serious.

The game is short Jimmay, it's short.

ok..... you could say that for all games

fact bioshock on easy 20 hours

bioshock on medium 20 hours

bioshock on hard 20 hours

wait thats only one ending!

bioshock on easy 20 hours bad ending

bioshock on medium 20 hours bad ending

bioshock on  hard bad ending 20 hours

wow 120 hours for bioshock, go bioshock!

same could be said of any game, your arguments are sad and pointless, just let it go man
