Um, no. If you play through until the full ending, it's over 8 hours once you include loading times and cutscenes.

You're also completely ignoring that the game has something like five or six different endings and that it's almost impossible to play through to the end the first time and complete the case files, your character is just too weak.


It's also humorous that you pull out one of the most replayable games of the generation to compare it to one of the least replayable games.

Sorry, but you fail. Try again.

Sorry your sly attack on the game didnt work. How about you dont post again so this thread can get back to what it was intended for, talking about how well it will sell. Personally for me i think week 1 it will sell roughly 150,000 in NA.

Riiigght so when he was talking about the game in his post did he talk about how amazing the production values of the game were, did he talk about the great graphics, or the first class voice acting, the interesting take on the combat system with blocking and combat stances, did he talk about how well the motion controls are used, did he talk about how impressive it gets when over a 1000 enemies are on screen in certain sections, did he originally say he gave it an 8 in his post...no he posted a one sentence summary that said the game was barely 5 hours long.

That's probably because that is the main point that stuck out to him, and probably many other gamers as well. The game is awesome, while you are playing it, which is all of 6 to 7 hours with no multiplayer. That's the point. If you don't get that, then you are being ignorant.

No you fail, loading times are included into the 6 hours you spend inside the mall, then the ending is no more than an hour, so it is roughly 7 hours to complete once and that's what i did it in. But guess what im not calling dead rising a short game because it has replayablity, just like heavenly sword does. Sorry you cant see the enjoyment that fans of beat um up games get by unlocking new moves, videos, artwork and having to master 100+ hit combos in certain sections to earn these rewards.

You got the real ending of DR in 7 hours? How does the game end? I'm just curious because the difficulty level in that game the first time through is supremely hard. I can't believe that you played through the game and didn't die once (otherwise your seven hour line is BS, doubly so because cutscenes and loading times are NOT included in the game clock).

But sad truth is 6 hour game play nowaday standard is a short game.....


Oh add double dragon on that list too, better yet like high % of 2D game can be beat under 1-2hrs ^^;

I'm sure it's a good game, but it's short. Whoa, actually I think this post might be longer than Heavenly Sword.

Which happens the following day in the game and therefore adds 2 hours to your timer, not one, bring the grand total to a minimum of eight hours. And we're still not including cutscenes or loading times.

Give it up.

No it only lasts for half a day which is 1 hour so that equals 7 hours. But hey even if you think your right, is 8 hours magically an ok time but 7 hours isnt...lol, yeah ok whateveer you say.
