Fact GT a few hundredth hours = every game to short not worth $60

I rented HS to run through it once to decide if i wanted it.  I beat it in approx 6 and a half hours.  I am really glad i rented it and didn't buy it.  

 You are grasping at straws.  The game is short.  Bioshock took me over 3 times as long to beat than HS.  And then I went through 2 more times because I had so much fun going through the 1st time and I wanted to get 1000GS.  After my first time through HS, i didn't want to play it again.  I even had 2 more days left before I had to take it back.

 I'm just glad i spent 60 cents an hour for the game instead of 10 dollars an hour.

It shouldnt be 'collecting everything' it should be 'playing normally' and from what I have read playing normally is 6-7 hours, which is short.
I could spend ages playing through say MP:Hunters and collect all the scans yet most people wont (first time through at least).

 You can cry about it all you want 7-13 hours worth of gameplay for this genre of game is not short.

 What is short to you then? 4 hours? Most people want at least 10 hours and thats a bare minimum, being able to play through normally in less than 7 hours is short.

 But Gears of War is longer than Heavenly Sword.

 

Gears was beaten, mamed and decapitated because the campaign was less than 10 hours on the first play through.  Are you going to tell me now that Gears of War isn't short?

To me collecting everything or trying to get as close to everything is playing normally, but then again i forgot we live in a world where people just want to do the minimum to get by. Speaking of metroid, i completed metroid prime 1 collecting everything, so much more fun than just rushing through it. To me 7 hours is within my bottom range of average length for a game of this genre.

No, i didnt think gears of war was short. It was just right in my opinion.
