Hey I was or am still thinking of buying an xbox 360. I already have the other console (no not the toy the other one).

i can buy it money is not really the issue. the issue is what i am buying it for. The Mass Effect franchise and Lost Odyssey i know for certain i wont buy any other game on 360 as I prefer my ps3 in terms of multiplat games and such and have no interest in halo or gears or its online maybe perhaps fable.

so do you think its worth buying for those two games or three games. The thing is if Mass Effect is announced for PS3 it will totaly be a worthless purchase so do yall think i should wait till after E3??

1. Please don't call the Wii a toy and then pretend the other two consoles are not. I don't really feel like giving a warning out for that, but tomorrow I might not be so nice or another mod might not be so nice.
2. If you're not in a hurry to play any of the 360 games, why not wait until after E3?

If you do get a 360, definitely shell out for Live. After that, just look through its exclusives and get the games that interest you.

Id wait for a price cut,i have a feeling one is coming or maybe a slimline.

Just buying it for 2 games doesn't really sound worth it. I'd wait until E3, if Mass Effect is jumping ship, E3 is when it'll be announced. I'm sure it has other games that will interest you if you look harder.

They aren't going to cut the price any time soon, it's already lower than the Wii and PS3 so there's no reason to.

This is actually very simple; if you need to justify your purchase of a console, then don't buy it. When the price of said system outweighs your hesitation, you will purchase it without fuel from VGChartz posters.

For example, I can easily afford a PS3, but I don't have one yet for similar reasons to yours for not owning a 360. There will come a time when the number of games it has that I want to play increase it's value (TO ME) over whatever the price of the console is a that time, and when that happens I will buy one.

If this is just an attempt however, at trying to get 360 owners to validate their purchase based upon announced upcoming games....well then I'm sorry I took the time to post.

I mean the good Xbox,not the arcade,the 60 gig HDD,that could possibly be lowered.

@OP - buy an Arcade which is a jasper and buy a 120 gig HDD and boom an Elite for $100 cheaper.
