They are remaking it, thats just it, just like they are making a new kingdom hearts game, it would be insane that they didnt remake it.

Even though the install base is minimal FF VII will move hardware for the ps3.

Its the only FF game that has not been remade.

Square is going to reveal it in TGS, and all of you will be shocked.

 If the "new generation of gamers" (which honestly started around thetime of the PS2) didn't know what Final Fantasy VII was, there would be no major cry for a FF7 remake.

 

You have no evidence to support your argument that SquareEnix intends to remake Final Fantasy VII.  Crisis Core ends with "The story continues in Final Fantasy VII".  And thus it does.  Final Fantasy VII continues from there.  Crisis Core was not a reboot, it was a prequel. 


Yes but it is also reason to make it, let that new generation have a go at the game thats so hyped about, and the former fans will also buy it.

IT ends with TO be contrined in FF 7, and its not the NORMAL ENDING, it has to be beat twice in order to see this cutscene. Again this is not full proof that there wil be one, but this is evidence that they will be most likely releasing it on PSN network or something, because without it there is no reason to state "to be continued"

We are not stating that its GOING to happen, there are alot of little hints that there is a possibility, the 3 main creators at SE have stated that there is not one in development, but that could change very fast, because CC was changed in just two days. THey also have a suprise game no one knows about, but he said people should be excited. Now if this does not give little hints that it could POSSIBLY be ff 7 remake i dont know what does, this and CC was released a week before the game show, and it showed to be continued.

 

Sorry if us fans have hope, i dont see how you have such a problem, we are discussing if these little things could in fact lead up to it.



                 With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

FF VII will not fit on a 1.8gb disc.


Just to point this,Wii game disc has 10GigaBytes of space.


 He stated that FFVII wouldn't fit on a UMD.

10 gigs of space on a Wii disc? I want some of what you're smoking, because Wii discs only hold 8.5 gb if it's a dual-layer. Normally, they only hold 4.7.

As for the FFVII remake, I'm guessing it would probably come out on the PS3, although I am unsure if it will come out at all. Then again, this IS money-hungry/power-hungry Square, so I won't be looking forward to any of their crap.

The only fact that the wii is getting kingdom hearts 3 is that it has a bigger install base. And thats it.

All/Most facts point to KH3 on Wii. It's a POSSIBILITY. It might not happen but it has a BIG chance yet some of you deny that.

id like it either way, but only problem i have with it on wii, is possible lack of graphics, but the wii mote sounds awsome if they can do it right

I have to say, sometimes I wonder if Leo-j and Soriku are long lost twin brothers. By some odd twist of fate their parents separated them, and in the greatest social experiment of all time: Soriku's was bought a Wii and Leo-j was bought a PS3. Seriously they like the exact same things, they act almost identical, and yet they support the opposite consoles. This can't just be chance haha.

Seriously... once again... it takes a LOT of negotiation to get a game like that in a download library.  I understand your excited... that's great.  But excitement isn't an excuse for crappy arguements. 

I still say they eventually remake it.  But to base it on "to" and not an to in english no less... is... silly.
