Halo: ODST is probably going to sell 5-6 million which is likely more than any PS3 game. But it will have almost no effect on sales of the console because, after all, it is a expansion pack and targeted mostly for existing owners of 360 and Halo 3. Generally, expansion packs and DLC's have very little effect on console sales, they sell almost exclusively to existing owners.

And I laugh at that guy that said that PS3's library is better than 360's.

Is he serious? If he is, that's damn embarrassing. 

Xbox 360's library > any library this generation.

Good point.

This is also a good way to improve marging on each console sold : Instead of fighting for a bigger install base, you generate more from the current one (got that Sony ?).



 

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
