PC is in competition with Xbox 360, and the rest of the consoles. It is fact that the PC versions and console versions of a game affect each other. It is also fact that if one wasn't able to buy their favorite console/PC he could decide to join another platform.

 

 

I can't help but laugh at this. PC is not a competitor to us consoles. It only has the Mac to worry about sad I know since its games are slim. You want to play on a PC talk about it on the right forums. We could care less.

Look man I also have a PC that is used for gaming I always have PC is for games only on PC because I'm a console gamer. Shocking I know but thats how console gamers see things. At least the majority will. So you're preachign to the choir my friend. BTW don't even dare screw this thread plenty of asshats did it on last years thread that was so wonderfully made by Onyxmeth. Dude, I'm not talking particularly about X platform vs Y platform... I'm saying that the Computer gaming Industry IS a clear competitor to the Console Industry. Since you can quantify the computer gaming industry into the single platform called PC (it doesn't matter if it's MAC or Linux or whatever, it's all interchangeable and are never mutually exclusive), it becomes PC vs Console industry.

Many people think that the Console industry will disappear and PC gaming will conquer the living rooms with some saying that there will be at most one generation of consoles before PCs take over. Consoles might also become cross that thin line between Console and PC, which also would end the console industry.

Most think I'm joking but the trends aren't in favour of the nay-sayers.

 

No, you don't get it. PC = personal console. The quantity of content accessed from the internet is approaching 100% and the PC is becoming a console to that content. The word personal computer only applied when computers weren't so hooked up to the internet.

Same here I only play PC games when they are PC exclusive games. I would gladly pick console game over PC game when it is multiplatform because of achievements. I stay away from online PC games because the amount of cheaters and trash talkers. Then there is my 52in HDTV 1080p.

If you have a problem with this concept of console exclusives, or you want to talk about other topics, leave and do it in another thread. This goes for everyone and I will ban people who go off topic.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I was gonna sale my 360 since i beat SO4 and IU was crap and did'nt finish it...

BUT since Magna Carta II is exclusives and NNN's II is up there, im staying for those 2 games, every other game on this list is crap imo.

Yeah, i do prefer them more in the long run, but i still like games like uncharted and stuff, you pretty much got it spot on though.

At anyrate this is the beauty of owning both HD consoles, never having to worry what goes where, fantastic.

Have you tried Fable 2? If you like LBP you should know that Media Molecule are ex Lionhead studio developers. Even though the games are entirely different, I personally felt the connection between the games even before I knew that the developers came from the same place originally.
