Definitely a difficult choice for me.
LO was the better overall JRPG but ToV's combat was so much fun.

I'll say....Tales of Vesperia (fun overrules story)

Maybe but some of these people who said LO have not played/finished ToV and that includes you. For the people who have played and finished ToV and still say LO i guess thats just there opinion. There are alot of people on this site and other sites who feels ToV is the best jrpg this gen but they have not come out on this thread to say that just like there are alot of people on this site who didn't like LO who did not come out for this thread. I guess thats just the way it is. I don't mnd though.

These 2 are games are 2 of my favorite games ever made, but I am definitely picking Vesperia. The characters, voices, music(mostly battle themes), and battle system make it a better game. Lost Odyssey does have a much better story though.

i just assassinated the ragou(?)(i went back to find missions/level up) and became a renegade(i think). and in lo im stuck in the temple of enlightenment.
