It sure is looking good but its definitely going to be in the back seat once GT5 comes out for me. I hope Shift is compat with the Logitech G25 wheel (best wheel for racing out there atm imo).

Good thing Shift comes out this year as it gives me something to play until GT5 comes out. The amount of cars and tracks in GT5 alone make it more worth wild to play for me. All those cars to tune individually to get the best out of them and try knocking of atleast 1 sec per tune. I just cant get enough of the GT series.

Yes im a GT Fan. ^^

Are you a simulation fan? If you are I feel sorry for you a bit. GT is nowhere near the best sim game.

GTR2 on PC is so much better. And then Simbin improved that engine and put it into Race Pro. I tell you what, if sim is your thing you are missing out by not owning Race Pro. It destroys GT5P and Forza 2. It's not even close. Obviously I have a full 360 force feedback racing wheel.

Also, you know the Logitech wheel. My problem is racing cars dont have clutches and for very good reason. It's racing not driving to the supermarket. Also the paddle shift is poor on that wheel. When the F1 game comes out, I would be dissapointed to have those paddles.

Im not am all out simulation fan so you dont need to feel sorry. I just happen to like what GT has to offer over all over racers out there and that is variety. GT has an insane amount of modes, real life tracks, cars with the ability to tune those cars to your liking. It may not be realistic but hey no game will ever be as real as getting in a real car and taking it around a track on a track day (though i prefer taking my motor bike around a track then a car anyday). The amount of detail PD put into GT just screams quality and when i buy any GT series i know im getting a quality product that to me is worth the money i put down for it.

As for the wheel thats total opinion. I enjoy the G25, it has force feed back with custom settings to make it harder or softer depending on your liking. The clutch isnt required and is only activated (depends on game) if you want to use the clutch (for example if you select H shift gearing you press Triangle on the PS3 to activate the use of clutch). The shifter is both traditional H pattern shifting and Triptronic shifting so you can switch between what suits your driving style. The paddles work great but i too believe there is room for improvement on those. Like i said thats my opinion on it. Obviously you did not prefer it when/if you used it but im glad you found your wheel of choice as there are alot of bad ones out there.

How is that a problem? The essence of GT games is to drive regular cars that are souped up! Like a Citroen C5 with a turbo and NOS on racing slicks! That's the whole point of the series; driving anything from Fiat 500 to Porsche and Pagani Zonda. Racing cars can be found in any racing game and they are also in GT but they are not the main focus and that's what makes GT so brilliant (imo) in the first place. As far as sportscars or so called supercars are concerned; the majority of car enthusiasts worldwide aren't very fond of paddle shifting at all, it takes away from the experience and the boxes are often unresponsive, expensive and of poor build quality.

I do agree that GT is not the best in Sim games (like Killzone 2 and Halo 3 are nowhere near the best in FPS') but the Logitech G25 is probably the best steering wheel available today for most games (its not a Sony product so there's no need to hate it! ).
