Do NOT, I repeat Do NOT get Gears of War or Gears of War 2. At first you think hey this is kind of fun, but after a while you notice all the flaws the game has and how bad it is.

Get Call of Duty 4 or World at War, and get Fallout 3.

I actually played gears at a friends house and enjoyed I got cod4 for the ps3 and fallout 3 maybe in the future.

Most of us will own both a 360 and ps3 in the end.........

I'll get a ps3 at some stage, no way i'm missing out on some of the games on ps3.

You are in a great position now where you can buy some of the 360's awesome back catalogue of games at dirt cheap prices.

If you like your sandbox games then i reccomend these 3 beautys

1. Dead rising
2. Crackdown
3. Saints row 1

Honourable mention if you never played it on ps2...... Bully: scholarship edition

That right there above is sandbox heaven, no other way to describe it.

FPS/TPS games........... Well, the usual suspects in this section

1. Gear of war 1 & 2
2. Left 4 Dead
3. Halo 3 ...... Edit post: (you already got it, have typed a lot here lol)
4. Condemned: Crimanal origins...... Better than Condemned 2 despite no online
5. Prey....... Overlooked game, great FPS
6. Quake 4 (comes with a bonus disc containing Quake 2)

Misc games....... Rockstar table tennis..... (it's like only £4 now almost everywhere)
Amped 3 (Like ssx and a good snowboard game)
If you decide to get xbox live (or even not due to a free month anyway) these two games may be worth a look due to the 360 Versions having online multiplayer...... Virtua fighter 5 and Virtua tennis 3


I know Virtua tennis 2009 is out soon but VT3 could be a money saving cheaper option.

1. PGR 3 (Cheap as chips and still a few play it online)
2. PGR 4...... Next logical step if you like PGR 3 i guess
3. If you like racing sims then i guess forza 2 is worth a look.
