Risen looks very good. I just hope it doesn't feel like an awkward poor mans version of Oblivion though, like Gofic 3 and Two-Worlds did.

No, it's an Oblivion clone. An open-world RPG with huge land mass, hundreds of quests and +100 hours of play time.

Gofic 3 was like that, wasnt it? Hundreds of quests is an exaggeration though. Im not sure, I only played Gofic 3 a little more than 10 hours. Can u define it? Amount of quests, play time etc.
Hmm, not impressed with the videos much, but I like the premise Slimebeast posted (true or no). I'll watch out for this one, methinks.

I never played Gothic. I can't tell you anything about it, sorry. I just heard that this series has a lot of fans and the developer earned a lot of respect for that series.
