Errr, sorry for a useless question but what's a factory-sealed game?
A game packaged and shrink wrapped at the factory.   The original unopened package.

More power to them I guess. I would do it if I had more money, would buy every version of a game I like and keep some of them sealed just for the different box arts.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Everytime I see someone with a post count of 1 talking about an obscure site it almost feels like spam...

 "almost"??

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

I have a friend that has a sealed copy of every version of Final Fantasy VII... nerd :P

As for me, I have never believed on collecting 'that way'... you know, without opening things.

More hardcore collectors than hardcore fans. Hardcore fans would want to play the game through and through. I see nothing wrong with these folks, they just have a different view of video game collecting. Personally I would not buy a sealed Chrono Trigger for $500, but if someone wants to, great, if I ever have one I know who to sell it to.

Meh, people collect unopened toys. I think both are pretty silly habits (or even collecting opened games is silly) but who am I to tell you you're habits are strange since I have some strange ones myself.

^ like?

Thems my secrets.

I can understand a collectable figurine (They have nice display boxes and retail value), sealed comics in mylar bags, but sealed video games? That's just silly.  Of cource, if they collect only bad games they are doing us a favor. I've seen a site that collects all the Shaq-fu copies they can find, only to destroy them.
