Well, for the worms is actually good if you use the Large Sword of Searching, because they don't have a full 100% chance to drop an item everytime. Mainly it's random with the worms, I had trouble too when I began to farm for Chunks of Greystone at first, but after 15 minutes or so of farming, they started dropping tons of them. 

As for Chunks of Mercurystone, are you doing it out of the Large Facebugs or the Short Facebugs? The short facebugs in the stairways at 4-3 have the highest chance to drop chunks of mercurystone, once again, bring the LSoS to get them to drop an item almost everytime.

Actually, I meant 3-3 :P 

To make that sword, you'll have to get an asian sword to +7 first. The best way to do it, is getting a Kilij to +7, is the most cost effective one, in terms of sharpstones.

Oh, you mean the Old Monk archstone right? Yep it's better from there, but you might scare off the Crystal Gecko there, in case you still need to farm for moonlightstones

I know he drops it I was just venting.

Once I get it should I farm the pure greystone off of the worms or go to ng++ and get it from scirvir? Which would take longer do you think? I only have 1-4 and last boss left in ng+.

Can the worms drop pure in near pwwt?

The chances that the worms drops pures in PW WT are very, very slim. My suggestion is that you go to NG++ and get it from Scirvir, it can be faster that way.

Or you can try your chances at PB WT, but there's a 5% chance at most that each worm drops one.

Sounds like a good suggestion. I am almost free of this game's grip!

Hopefully I get the pure bladestone today. Shouldn't take me but another 2 hours or so to then get to 2-2. Sooooooo close.
