I can't wait to get back to DS. Even though it can be so damn frustrating at times, it just somehow keeps calling you back for more.

The game is enticing, the more you learn about it and the better you get at it, you just want to push further, to discover even more :D

Today at night i'm doing stone hunting! Hooray >_

There's a shortcut to get to Adjudicator location from near the start of the level, but it requires carefull rolling. So make sure you aren't burdened before attempting it. You don't have to sprint at the wall, and some have done it from a standing start at the right place.

When you enter 4-1, and you encounter the two archers shooting from above the first fog door, there's a tower to the right that you can access by climbing the stairs in the left tower and going across the rampart where the two archers are.

Remember, at the bottom of the right tower is where you pick up the copper key to free Blige, and there is a trap down there if you fall down. As you walk onto the top of this right tower from the walkway, you can go left around and down the stairs, or if you look right towards the far corner you will notice a part of the wall that is crumbled and is missing some blocks.

From the top of the tower, if you run and then roll toward the broken part, you will land on top of the tower wall instead of falling onto the stairs. Sometimes you will see a message on the ground like "Run Here" , and sometimes people leave a message on the top of the wall where you should aim to land.

Once you're there, look down and see where the wall below separates the starting area on the right (where you picked up the Talisman of God under the tree), and you can fall down to your left (down to where the HP regeneration ring is). This left path will take you right next to the area with the last staircase down to the Adjudicator (and it's a great way to rush the crystal gecko on the ledge).

This is from the Demon's Souls wikia, i've tried it myself, but only got it right one time out of 4 :P So in reality, there's a shortcut to Adjudicator, but it's really hard to get find it properly.

You don't have to fight the Vanguard, but you'll need his soul in order to make the Dozer Axe.

wow, that was really easy...got it from the first try

i thought it would be hard from all that text xD

as i predicted i was killed by him (mainly because he gave me a heart attack and delayed my response time)

He was the easiest so far, i just kept circling around him

@Nen-suer

Good going with the shortcut :) Also, you've just unlocked 4-2, be prepared to spend most of your time there if you want to level up your soul level afterwards, it's the best place for soul farming xD

@Grahamhsu

You're cleaning NG+ quite well :) I'm trying to get all the stone hunting out of the way now, that way i'll have only to do the 3 subsequent NG's without worrying about this xD

Warn him about the Black Phantom...She's a pain. She moves normally and she has Meat Cleaver...the least mistake you make and you're done for in New Game + and on..

As for the goblins lure the big one first with the bow...Kill it normally or just use Firestorm if you have it.

If you're on PBW use the thief ring and sneak up behind them...( cause there will be like 3 goblins out of which 1 is a BP).

So guys, what are your levels or/and stats? What are your specialities? Favorite weapon on so on?

Im lvl 194, with all stats above 20, and currently going for strength because of the Keel Smasher.

I prefer being light and use the ring of great strength everytime so that I can have good armors and be light...

Favorite weapons are Keel Smasher and Blessed Mace +5.

He had already finished 5-2 so I thought he had at least defeated the Black Phantom, but that's a very good observation :)

Also, i'm still a bit far away from your level, i'm still at level 127, but when I get close to the level range for PvP, i'll tell you ;)

just soulsuck her face, I'd imagine you'd get around 100k souls? Right now I'm gonna finish crafting my morion's and than get Sage Freke, =P been holding onto this Maiden soul for 2 hours too long, I thought I'd get it immediately in NG+ lol.

@spooge as for my strategy, in general I use MC, with warding on I'm not having any problems in NG+ as a melee, but I can easily say without warding I'm pretty sure I'd die in one shot soul form. Any of the bosses that give me trouble I can cheese through with my bow...and soon any enemy that gives me trouble I will cheese through as well with soulsuck, eventually any BP that tries to invade I will cheese through with Banish.

So I guess my strategy is really all about cheese. If you want a more detailed play by play you can try learning by watching the Green Bay Packers.

edit: just finished 4-2 old hero was a lot easier, with warding on each hit would only take off 1/4 of my hp. I think warding effectively quadruples my hp o_O
