I considered making a Morion blade but decided it'd take too much time >< I need a lava bow, took me 400 heavy arrows no joke with friendship ring and clever rat ring. At first I was dealing 50 damage per hit on it's first area. Than when it ran back i started dealing 7-20 dam...I sat down ate lunch while i tapped r1 repeatedly lol 400 arrows later i emerged victorious now to take on the false king with thief ring and arrow=D
| lestatdark said: @Grahamhsu Give me back my build :P I used to have that build when I started NG+ xD When I was at the end of NG+ I was at 40 strength and dexterity and 30 faith :D My Meat Cleaver did 530 physical attack xD. |
Buddy you should try Keel Smaher +5...but always have a secondary wep with it( recommended, light weapon)...
looool, just saw your message on PSN xD
Well, with both Morion Blade and Clever Rat Ring i took over 150 HP damage with each hit, even on the second stage.
Did you hit him from afar? you could have run below his flame and snipe him from below the doorway.

I didn't use the Keel Smasher too much, how much does it take at +5?

Keel Smasher is hands down the best weapon of the game...Tired of people using dragon storm and killing you 1 hit? Use keel smasher! Tired of spears hitting you long range? Use Keel Smaher!
Want to knock out your enemies? Use Keel Smasher..Want to have awesome range and power, plus add on powers like Sticky White stuff and other magical powers? Use GODAMN Keel Smasher!!
Well it is my favorite weapon anyways...Next to it is Blueblood sword...

580 Damage...and your built is better than mine...
If you want a heavy weapon, Keel Smasher is the right choice...of course make it +5 for perfect effectiveness.

The problem with Keel Smasher it's the downtime for the attack to actually hit, so a fast moving opponent can easily outsmart you. Heck I faced a Keel Smasher user with my Meat Cleaver and he never got a hit on me :P

He is not very good with keel smasher then...I am quite fast with it, and the range is crazy. Use sticky white stuff on it and hit the enemy while running with R2, boom. Even if hes not down, he will be pushed back. A hit from that baby and boom your opponent starts panicking.
And in case it doesn't work with opponents aware of it's effectiveness, switch to a blade (Blueblood sword, recommended, or a spear perhaps)...
What you do though, when facing an opponent, is not to show him your keel smasher yet. Equip a sword(good one) and just let him do what he does...if you see that he readies his wand, quickly switch to keel smasher( the most likely spell he will use is the dragon storm, damn deadly)...
Well it all depends on preferences but in my opinion , if you are opting for a very heavy sword, Keel Smasher may be the choice.
