LSS doesn't work in this case

but i tought it doubles your odds for a drop so the lesser drops will always drop but improves your odded on the pure stone. I keep hearing its a .2 % or 5%  then the LSS should bump it to .4% or 10% no?

well doesn't hurt to equip it anyway, it's not like I need my shield in left hand to cast soulsucker and I needed to craft a LSS at some point anyway.

about lvl230 .. I lvled up from slvl ~80 to ~220 while farming bladestones ...

Lol.

I think I'm gonna farm bladestone until either the pure drops or I get to something like 250k souls/levels.

If it had not dropped then I will finish NG+ and farm again in NG++.

Might as well get some levels out of it :P

Can you have two characters going at the same time on one PSN profile? In other words, I'm mid way through as a Royal, but part of me wants to play as a Soldier too....can I start a second game and not lose the first? Then play whichever one I feel like that day?
