the clever rat ring is when you are low in HP your attack power raises. It means that when you are 30% or lower your attack power raises. The guy you killed was bad. If you didn't kill him he would have kept reviving the false Idol and you would never had won the fight. She is hard enough by herself I struggled more with her than any other boss for some reason. I don't believe it changes tendency at all.

She was easy for me. The only boss thats hard for me so far is the fire guy... I couldn't even get close to him... I lost a lot of souls. I don't know why it seems like i blow past these bosses. I mean I only had to hit the tower knight 3 times before he died... I have my halberd at +7.

I still can't decide what weapon to use next.

Right now I use a quality long sword +5 ( i am a knight) but I would like to upgrade it at some point.

I was looking in the Sword of the Penetrator +5 but it doesn't look that good.

Would Sharp Uginata +5 be a better idea ?

Right now my Str is 24 and my dex is 16 but I am going to raise the dex ( because sometime I have to use the bow and it would help there).

Otherwise my faith is 25 going to 36 , my magic is still at 10 and I don't plan to increase it however....

Don't ask me I'm not that far into the game. I've only beat 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, and 3-1 so far... I was on the 2-2 boss but got my ass kicked. couldnt even get close.

i made a new character, less than an hour old and I'm already doing 2-1 :D I love this game.

Being agile is much more fun than being slow and clunky i find.

anyone here right now? I have what looks to be pure white tendancy in boletarian palace. Can i get that special armor?

Don't waste time upgrading those weapons. At 5-2, you'll find a weapon called Large Moonlight Sword, if you cut out the slug's nest. The sword is beast. It can't be blocked at all. Useful, very useful against Black Phantoms and highly guarded enemies. It requires 24 faith.

If you're strong enough, kill ostravia with the mephistopheles quest and get his key. Go to the red eyed knight at 1-1 and prepare youself to take on the challenge of Old King doran. The sword he gives you is awesome. I jumped from 190 dmg to 450 dmg with that sword. I heard that the sword depended on soul tendencies...so idk.

Hey I have a question, so I just got the dark silver shield today and it looks pretty nice. I am thinking of upgrading it a few times, maybe all +5 in another play through, but my question is since I am a temple knight and using blessed weapons along with the moonlight sword+1 will the shield lower how strong my attacks are since i saw that the shield gains an ability after upgraded to lower magic attack, but raise magic defense. Would this it apply to my blessed weapons and the moonlight sword+1, since the moonlight sword raises my magic attack power? Does this hurt me or is it applies strictly to magic casting?

this game is sooo damn good. i bought uncharted 2 on tues and didnt play the SP until today because of demons souls hahah

it may affect the attack power of your moonlight sword, but your blessed weapons whould  be fine.

if you put the dark shilver shield and moonlight sword+1 on your left hand, then problem solved 'cause you can't equip them at the same time.
