I found the spear quite useful in 2-1.  Beat 2-1 already; it was a pretty easy level.

1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 3-1 and 4-1 are finished so far. 5-1 should be next on my list I guess right?

I am currently Soul Level 37.

So you beat 3-1 any advice on how to kill those octopus dudes?

And anyone know a good place to lvl? I'm only lvl 22 :P

I always kept my distance from those guys. I hate them just as much as the next guy.

I started as a royal so I had Soul Arrow. I would just get close enough until I could target him, then hit him with a Soul Arrow and keep backing up as I casted it again. I kept repeating this until they went down. If they happened to cast a spell towards me (Soul Ray I believe), I would just roll to the side and continue casting Soul Arrow.

That was pretty much it. I wouldn't dare get close to those guys. They would pick my ass up and stab me.

As for leveling up, you could try 4-1. Skellies give pretty good exp. You just take out the ones leading up the stairs, then go around and take out the Black Skelly with Spells and Arrows (KEEP YOUR DISTANCE) and you could get 4k souls. Return to Nexus, go back in and do it again.

Word thanks. So I just took out that dragon (took like a half an hour). Should I trade his soul in for the 10k? or is that warding miracle worth having?

You get Warding from the Tower Knights soul. The Red Dragon's soul give you nothing if I am not mistaken.
